Dan Munroe Bio Mr. Munroe provides sophisticated insurance and financial strategies for estate, business and charitable planning. He has over ten years experience in identifying and implementing wealth transfer strategies for private clients and corporations. Prior to joining AXA Advisors, Mr. Munroe was Vice President of AXA Equitable’s Marketing and Product Development, where he headed the life insurance product division marketing group. This group led the company’s efforts in analyzing market position in order to develop and design the most competitive new life products and features. Mr. Munroe also held positions of increasing responsibility at AXA Equitable’s wholesale life insurance organization based in Farmington, CT. Most recently he served as Vice President, National Accounts and Business Development, responsible for expanding distribution of proprietary AXA Equitable life insurance products among several wholesale channels, including brokerage general agents (BGAs), broker/dealers, and independent financial planner producer groups. Mr. Munroe also previously served as Director of Sales for Direct Brokerage, where he was responsible for launching AXA Partners’ entry into the insurance producer group market. Mr. Munroe joined AXA Equitable as Vice President and Director of Advanced Sales and Training, responsible for building from inception the AXA Partners Advanced Markets Group. This group was responsible for the execution of advanced case design, which includes such concepts as premium and split dollar financing of life insurance, estate planning, trust structuring, business key person valuations and qualified plan distributions.
